A gym inside a sports center
Most of the centers Sporttia manages are local-authority sports services, and their gym is usually one more room in the sports center: the weights room, a multi-purpose studio with group classes and, around them, courts, a pool and coaching programs. There, gym software cannot be an island. The member paying for the gym is the same person who signs their daughter up for swimming and books a court on Saturday.
That is why in Sporttia the gym is one more facility in the same panel, with its own capacity, schedule and rates, and the member has one record and one app for everything.
Group classes with a cap on places
Each group class is a group with its own schedule, cap on places and rate. The member signs up from the app and the place is theirs.
- An app for booking classes
- The member sees the classes, signs up and pays from their phone, even at eleven at night. The desk does not deal with the Monday queue.
- A full group closes by itself
- Each group has its cap and the system respects it, even if three people sign up in the same second. There is no automatic waiting list.
- Perks for members
- A membership type can sign up for classes and pay later, or have a rate nobody else sees. It is decided per membership type.
- 1The dues, how often they are raised, the sign-up fee and the expiry belong to the membership: decided once, applied to everyone.
- 2One membership can hang from another, so “adult members” inherits what it shares with the general membership.
Dues that collect themselves

- Raised when each member is due, based on their sign-up date and the membership's period. No gaps and no double charges.
- Two hundred members, one batch
- With the IBAN on the record, a period's dues go out together in one SEPA batch to the bank. The desk collects none of them.

- 2It resets itself every night, so anyone who did not badge out does not keep counting forever.

The member arrives with their phone
Their credential is a QR code in the app, or a card or wristband if the center uses them.
The turnstile checks their membership
If it is valid and allows entry at that time, it opens. The morning membership does not open in the afternoon.
Anyone who owes does not get in
Overdue dues block entry, with the grace days the center decides so nobody is locked out over a bank error.
One card, one person
Anti-passback blocks entering twice without leaving, which is how a card really gets lent.
And everything is logged
Who came in, with which credential and at what time, and if they were refused, why.

What you should know
- There are no training plans, routines or member progress tracking: the Fitness module has not been released yet. Sporttia runs the gym, the classes, the dues and access.
- There is no automatic waiting list for classes and no no-show penalty. When a group fills, online enrollment closes for that group.
- Entry with a session pass needs a connection, because the system has to check how many uses are left. Entry by membership and booking keeps working offline on ready turnstiles.
- There is no app with the gym's brand: members use the Sporttia app, where the center appears with its own profile. And there is no facial recognition.

Frequently asked questions
- Can group classes with limited places be booked?
- Yes. Every group has its own cap and its own rate, and online enrollment closes for that group as soon as it fills. There is no automatic waiting list: cancellations are handled by the center from the enrollment list.
- Can members book classes from an app?
- Yes. The Sporttia app is free on iOS and Android, and it can also be used from a browser. The member signs up for the class, pays and carries their access credential with them.
- Can access to the gym floor be controlled with nobody at the desk?
- Yes. Members get in with their phone, a QR code or a card, and the turnstile checks on the spot whether their dues are up to date. Anyone who owes a payment does not get through, within the grace period the center sets, and every entry is logged.
- How are membership dues collected?
- By SEPA direct debit or recurring online payment: a period's dues are raised in a single operation, and returned debits come back flagged on the member's record.
- Does it work for a gym with several studios on different timetables?
- Yes. Each studio has its own capacity, schedule and grid, and one person can hold a membership for one studio, a punch pass for another and a course enrollment, all on the same record.
- Does it create training plans?
- No. The Fitness module, which would include plans and routine tracking, has not been released yet. Sporttia runs the gym, group classes, dues, access and the till. With BH machines, member sign-ups and cancellations sync with Gymloop.
- How much does gym management software cost?
- Sporttia comes in two packs: the Basic Pack, from €35/month, and the Advanced Pack, from €45/month, excluding indirect taxes. The final price is matched to the center and agreed in a thirty-minute demo, with the modules it needs. The members' app is included. With its own bank's POS, if Sporttia has it integrated, there is no Sporttia fee; with Sporttia's POS (Stripe), a fee on the payments made through it is charged every month.
