Decide on data, not on a feeling
- Which court is spare and which one is missing
- Occupancy by facility and by time band tells you where to raise the price and where you need another court.
- How many members actually turn up
- The entrances report tells who pays the fee from who pays and also comes in. That is what you set prices and hours from.

What you should know
- The report catalog is defined by Sporttia: there is no free-form query builder and no connection to an external dashboard.
- Comparisons are against the previous year. A center in its first season will see the prior series at zero, and that is not a fault.
- No report balances the day's till: that is what till control is for, which distinguishes the payment date from the usage date.
Frequently asked questions
- What formats do the reports download in?
- PDF and CSV, all of them, with the amount totals already worked out. The PDF is for handing over and the CSV for carrying on in a spreadsheet.
- Does the occupancy report tell a free court from a closed one?
- Yes, and that is its most useful column. It brings bookings, closures, courses and events into the same table with a column that distinguishes them, so an unused court can be accounted for: it was not free, it was out of service.
- Which report do I use to balance the day's till?
- None: that is what till control is for, which shows only money collected and distinguishes the payment date from the usage date. The reports answer management questions, like occupancy or enrollments.
- Can I find out how many members actually use their membership?
- Yes, with the unique entrances report by month and year. It tells who pays the fee from who pays and also comes in, which is the difference that matters when deciding prices and hours.
- How many reports are there?
- Thirteen, spread across facilities, courses, dues, entrances and members. Not every center sees the same ones: the screen shows those that match what the center has bought.
